My favorite reason to put together these little weekend collages is to look back over the pictures captured from those couple days and relish the moments we shared and enjoyed and be reminded of the countless reasons we have to be grateful. Capturing a moment, an experience, an outing, a meal, an emotion — all these things have served to help me be more aware of God’s goodness that abounds in even the simplest things.
01 // the hilarity of dressing up as cows and enjoying a free meal from good ole’ Chick-Fil-A. Seriously, they do customer service/experience really well.
02 // snuggled on mommy and daddy’s bed for family reading time. J and I reliving our childhood as we read Berenstain Bear books.
03 // always a favorite time of the week — cozy Saturday morning reading time.
04 // vanilla yogurt. fresh berries. my momma’s homemade granola recipe.
05 // the joy on her face as she’s swimming by herself. oh, my heart, that smile.
06 // my afternoon work station set-up.
07 // baseball on the J-bowl. our little superstar baseball player. we’re proud.
08 // striped dress on sunday morning.
09 // spontaneous lunch after church with friends. good food and stomach-aching laughter.
Weekends are so good. Just so so good.
My momma’s homemade granola recipe is my favorite, favorite. I’ll be sharing it on the blog later this week.
I hope you all had a delightful weekend too! What were your days filled with?
